Options: Aliases

Command aliases run individual Rhino commands or scripts
.

You can type command aliases just like normal Rhino commands. You can use them to create abbreviations for often used commands or command scripts. You can also use them to make Rhino share command names with another product.

Alias

The list of existing command aliases.

  • Click New to create a new command alias.

  • Click Delete to delete the highlighted command alias.

Command macro

The alias definition.

Note: Some object snaps
cannot be used in aliases.

Actions

Import

Imports aliases from a text file.

Export

Exports aliases to a text file.

New

Creates a new alias

Delete

Deletes the selected alias.

Restore Defaults

Reloads the alias list that ships with Rhino. All custom aliases will be lost.
