Re-aligns an object or group of objects from a base curve to a target curve.
Note: Use the Flow command to map a flat, straight shape to a curved shape, since it can be easier to draw things when they are lined up than to draw a complex shape around a curve.
Steps:
-
Select objects.
-
Select the base curve near one end.
-
Select the target curve near the matching end.
Options
Copy
Rigid
Line
Draw a line for the original base curve.
Local
No
All of space is deformed.
Yes
Specify circles to define a “tube” of influence around the input curve. Everything inside the tube is flowed. Everything outside the tube is fixed. Inside the tube wall the flow dies off.
Stretch
No
The length of the objects along the curve directions are not changed.
Yes
Objects are stretched or compressed in the curve direction so that the relationship to the target curve is the same as it is to the base curve.

Morphs objects from a source surface to a target surface.
Steps:
-
Select objects.
-
Select a base surface near a corner.
-
Select the target surface near a matching corner.
Options

Rigid
No
Individual selected objects are deformed.
Yes
Individual objects are not deformed, but are rotated along the target surface. This option is useful for flowing letters along a surface.
Plane
Draw a plane instead of using an existing surface as the base objects. The options for drawing the plane are the same as for the Rectangle
command.
